Our Ipswich steamer clams are sourced from local clam harvesters who “hand scratch” them fresh from sand flats on the coast of Gloucester, Essex, and Ipswich, Massachusetts. Our steamer clams range in color from white to a dark grey color, a trait they adopt from the sand of the flats they are harvested from.
