Boston Mackerel is wild harvested and landed in Gloucester during the summer months. Right when the fish lands, we choose the largest size mackerel and immediately flash freeze it at minus 30 degrees Fahrenheit to guarantee a premium sushi grade quality when defrosted and ready to prepare. During the peak season, fresh Boston Mackerel is available for purchase.
