Given the coal black scale outside appearance, Black Sea Bass is a lean white fish that is a native to the East Coast of the United States that is highly sought after by many types of cuisines. Black Sea Bass is a wild caught fish with a superior fresh & mild with a hint of sweetness flavor profile. The texture of the fish is firm, lean, and very versatile, making this wild-caught fish perfect to cook under the broiler, grilled, roasted, and prepared as a whole fish preparation. Black sea bass (Jumbo Size) is also used in Japanese Cuisine for sushi preparations and favored by many sushi chefs due to its delicate flavor & firm texture, making it easy to slice and serve.

Yes, the fish is whole and uncleaned (scales are on, guts and head on) so you will have to clean it when it arrives to your home. If you don’t want to do all the work to clean it, we do offer black sea bass fillets.
